Michael M has been such an important member of our community since 2012. A Rhode Island native with far too many years of lived experience with homelessness, Mike knows everybody and is everyone’s friend. His superpower is his ability to put a smile on the face of just about everyone, he brings sunshine into the lives of people living their darkest days. He is reliable and hard-working and hilarious, and is usually the last volunteer to leave when we close the doors late Sunday afternoon after a long day. Mike worked hard to find stable housing approximately five years ago, but continues to give back and encourages folks living a life that he remembers clearly. He is an inspiration to many and we love him so much.
