Kevin Simon - Director of Outreach and Communications.
Kevin has been a part of the Mathewson Community for 10 years. He started by sharing his musical talent and playing piano for our friends at the Mathewson Street Friendship Breakfast bright and early on Sunday morning and then quickly fell in love with the folks in our community. Kevin is a calm and trusted leader, from serving breakfast, encouraging and managing volunteers, getting critically needed donations, and coordinating with various agencies and programs. You can often find Kevin giving a friend a much-needed ride to a critical appointment, working with state and local leaders to advocate for services, being a trusted confidant, and listening when someone is having one of the worst days of their lives. Kevin also leads us spiritually by sharing a sermon on an occasional Sunday morning worship service and leads us daily as an example of genuine love and kindness.
Lay Leader Lisa Carter
Lisa Carter also chairs Church Council and is on the Board of Directors of our lay partner organization 134 Collaborative. She earned her undergraduate degree, medical degree, and Master's of Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She works at the Family Health Center of Worcester, a busy community health center that serves an ethnically diverse, low-income, urban population.

Scott Budnick - Founder of Mathewson Street Friendship Breakfast
Scott Budnick is the church treasurer and is the heart and soul of the volunteer group hosting our 8:00 a.m. Prayer & Friendship Breakfast. Leo Felice
Leo Felice is our foyer host and a treasured member of our church family. He has a kind but strong bearing and has the background and training to keep our church a safe sanctuary for all of our parishioners and guests. He has extensive training in protection services and is the president of the security firm Eagle Personal Protection Specialists.
